Turkish Airlines has scheduled its 289-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft on its Sunday morning flights between Istanbul and Zagreb starting August 8 until the end of the summer season, with the last service scheduled with the wide-body jet on Sunday October 22, “Croatia Aviation” reports. The increased capacity will help deal with increased demand on the route. As a result, a total of eleven Turkish Airlines flights will be operated by the wide-body aircraft, which has 28 seats in business class and the remaining 261 in economy. Turkish Airlines is one of Zagreb Airport’s busiest carriers. During the first quarter it welcomed 41.733 passengers on the route, representing an increase of 33.4% on the same period during the pre-pandemic 2019.
