Spotless victory: ANA takes the crown for the World’s Cleanest Airline of 2023

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has swept away its competition, taking out the title of the World’s Cleanest Airline in this year’s Skytrax awards.

Leaving rivals in the dust, ANA beat out Asiana Airlines and Qatar Airways, which took second and third place, respectively.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards assess and rate the standard and quality of cleanliness in the aircraft cabin, taking into account various factors such as the cleanliness and presentation of seat areas, tables, carpets, cabin panels, and washrooms. And ANA were the clear winners.

The airline was also ranked 3rd in the 2023 Airline of the Year award. It is also a 10-time recipient of World’s Best Airport Services as well as five-time recipient of World’s Cleanest Airline and eight-time recipient of Best Airline Staff Service in Asia awards.

Shinichi Inoue, President and CEO of ANA credited “the commitment of all our employees to deliver unbeatable customer experience” for this win as well as its coming third overall.

“With the multiple recognitions, it is undeniable that ANA’s track record is unprecedented.”

But despite the airline cleaning up at the awards, ANA doesn’t intend to rest on its laurels.

“While we are humbled by these accolades, we are determined to continue improving our quality to bring about further innovation,” Inoue said.

“To meet the evolving needs of our passengers in the post-COVID era, we will raise our efforts to unite the world in wonder by offering customer oriented service, products and experiences at the next level.”
