The Serbian government has acquired the latest generation full-flight simulator from Canadian manufacturer CAE for the training of future commercial pilots. The simulator will be based at the Aviation Academy in Belgrade. “Pilots as well as cadets from Air Serbia will no longer have to go to France and other countries to undergo training. We know how difficult it is to find simulator slots and they will have priority when it arrives in Serbia next spring. The agreement was signed in March, and the simulator will be delivered within a year. However, with the assistance of the Canadian government we expect it to arrive even sooner. Furthermore, we have signed an agreement for the purchase of a Flat Panel Trainer for the A320 from CAE, and we plan to acquire a Flight Training Device for Airbus helicopters”, Gabrijela Grujić, the Director of the Office for Dual Education and National Qualifications Framework of the Government of Serbia, said.
