The multi million euro upgrade of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is continuing to advance. Following the recent opening of the central processor, overhauled A wing and the opening of the inserted runway, work is now taking place on the redevelopment of the arrivals area, including passport control and the baggage claim hall. The construction of a new Dufry Main Store duty free, stretching over 3.760 square metres is also taking place, after which the so-called “Tesla Square” will become the 2.800 square metre central plaza, with renderings of the future interior pictured. Furthermore, new open-concept shops and food and beverage facilities are soon set to open in the check-in hall, which will give the area a more spacious feel.
