Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport recorded its busiest July on record by handling 905.071 passengers, representing an increase of 27% on last year and growth of 23.1% on the pre-pandemic 2019. It registered an increase of 17% in commercial aircraft movements on 2022. During the January – July period, the airport welcomed 4.191.931 travellers through its doors, up 46.8% on last year and an increase of 25.2% on 2019. The airport has said it expects to handle well over seven million passengers this year.
