Alaska Airlines and The Mountain Collective Partnership Offers Exclusive Benefits – Travel Noire

Alaska Airlines announced its new partnership with The Mountain Collective, a ski pass program. The partnership grants access to 24 premier ski resorts worldwide. With ski season just a few months away, now is the perfect time for Mileage Plan members to take advantage of this exclusive offer. They have the chance to prepare for an unforgettable skiing experience at some of the world’s most renowned resorts.

To reward their Mileage Plan members, the airline is offering a special deal on the purchase of a season pass. Members will receive 5,000 bonus miles and a complimentary third day at a resort of their choice. Mileage Plan elites will enjoy an additional 5,000 bonus miles, making it a total of 10,000 bonus miles. This offer is available from Aug. 3 to Sept. 25.

“Our new partnership with The Mountain Collective is an excellent way to experience amazing resorts this winter and save money,” said Brett Catlin, vice president of loyalty, alliances and sales at Alaska Airlines, in a press release. “We also love that we can get you to all of these resorts on Alaska flights or with one of our Oneworld member airlines and additional global partners.”

Ski Resorts Across Five Continents

The Mountain Collective pass provides two days of skiing at each of the participating resorts across five continents. It also provides the option to purchase additional days at discounted rates and no blackout dates. The pass costs $630 for adults, $500 for teenagers, and $200 for children under 12.

Alaska Airlines and its partners offer flights to numerous destinations in the Western U.S. and Canada. Their global partners can fly passengers to international resorts in France and Japan, as well as to year-round skiing destinations in Australia, New Zealand, and Chile.

Alaska Airlines treats ski and snowboard equipment as normal checked bags. Standard baggage fees and waivers apply with no additional fees for such items. Mileage Plan elite flyers and Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Cardholders enjoy free checked bags, making it easier for them to transport their gear.
